First post! [19 Jan 2008|08:43pm]
Hey y'all! I do hope this place is still alive and kicking oh, but please don't kick me, I don't have money to get fixed at the hostpital! Anyway, this place has piqued my interest for a while (lol pun), but now I actually did draw some stuff, for this one meme. The instructions were:
1. Comment and I'll pick two of your LJ interests and draw you a picture, using Paint whatever I feel like lol.
2. You have no say in what I draw you!
3. Put this in your journal. And the pic someone drew for you.
I haven't used in MSPaint in a while, and I wasn't intending to draw very nicely because it was actually supposed to be a lulztastic meme but they turned out a LOT better than I expected. I had a TON of fun, too! Without further ado...

There was a gradual progression in here, and I'm really pleased, since these didn't take very long, at least, individually. ♥ Hope you all enjoy~!

Yes, I was doing these instead of doing university work.

I drew this for Katie aka tomatorama, seeing as the Vic half of reeves & mortimer has never got around to drawing brian eno in his own style, and she said I should put it on drawmyinterests. The key to Vic Reeves' drawings of celebrities is that he attempts to draw his subject's eyes as far apart as possible and still make the celebrity in question recognisable. His book Sunboiledonions is a highly amusing piece of work, and this is a humble attempt to imitate the style of that book, unlikely anecdote in childlike scrawl and all.

JA I made a Draw My Interests website for all the pictures I ever did and everything that was did for me.

This was for Martyn, who doesn't even have Livejournal (heathen), and it isn't really an interest but he came up with the concept of mystery golf when I was talking about the data entry crap I had to do about holidays that are available - such as mystery tour or golf weekend.

I know it's not in my interest, but I need a drawing of a sandcastle, and I figure you're the right lot to get it done. Nothing fancy, just something I can look at and paint onto a handbag.

Ahoi, or ahoj if you are Czech! I did this here drawing for me old mate tomatorama a while back but I made Brian Eno look too much like Andy Pipkin of Little Britain fame. I have now established that drawing faces is not my strongest suit - excuse the intentionally bad use of language there! Anyway, I replaced the offending head with the head of Brian Eno circa 1973.

I present brian eno, yorkshireisms and john price the slitherer, the latter presumably a-writhing to the wibble and whoosh sounds of Eno's synthesizer.

I also deem it worth my while to link this hnyar in light of Sweden's next World Cup match. I like the Swedish football team very much, so it's unfortunate that they are to meet a team I like even more at a relatively early stage in the competition. But enough about football.

I Can I Can't [24 Jun 2006|12:36am]

For pesky33, nirvana and the league of gentlemen. Kudos to moshitron for her fine prior rendering of Tubbs and Edward too. The opportunity to use Papa Lazarou's catchphrase was too good to pass up in the end.
